Via Verde of Vadollano

Vía Verde - Vadollano

The Vadollano greenway is nine kilometres long and runs between the town of Linares and Vadollano. The route can be explored on foot, by bike or on a horse. Some sections of the route are also accessible to wheelchair users.

While exploring this route you can see fields of olive trees, as well as the basin of the Castro stream. You will also be able to see ruins which make up one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe; the ancient Romano-Iberian city of Cástulo.

At the beginning of the Vadollano greenway, in Linares, you can visit the Centro de Interpretación del Paisaje Minero y la Metalurgia, offering exhibitions and specialist workshops to learn about the mining industry, along with other points of interest such as religious monuments.
