FLAMENCO - TORREMOLINOS
Unfortunately, Torremolinos no longer has a thriving flamenco scene and just about all the town's flamenco tablaos have disappeared, with the exception of one.
Pepe Lopez has been entertaining tourists with regular flamenco shows since the early 1970s and it was once one of the most celebrated clubs in Andalucía.
Formerly known as El Jaleo, this large basement flamenco tavern is situated in the Plaza de la Gamba Alegre in the heart of Torremolinos, and it offers a traditional Andalucian experience.
The opening hours and times of the show vary depending on the season, but from June through until September, Pepe Lopez opens Wednesday to Saturday.
The show, which starts at 10pm, costs 30 euros and this includes one free drink, but be sure to check drink prices, because they are often higher than a standard bar.
