Driving itinerary from Coin to Monda

Coin to Monda

Watch for the signs for the A-355 to Monda and Marbella. More signs of the thriving agricultural economy here as you pass still more groves of fruit trees complimented by gently rolling hills speckled with the occasional splash of white marking a small cortijo or farm. An impressive mountain range looms closer and there is the town of Monda glistening white nestled in the valley overlooked by a castle, parts of which date back to 1570 and which is today a  restaurant and hotel.

A pretty, unspoilt village, Monda is worth a quick wander around before setting off for your next stop, Ojen.

If you entered Monda follow the sign for Marbella from the main square. The road follows the main road for a short way before joining it to follow our Monda to Ojen route.
