Re: DELPASO Car Hire – A cautionary tale.

Olive, the money the carhire companies make is on claims, no doubt about it...I always inspect every inch of a car as much as i possibly can and there isn't one occasion where i haven't had to go back to the desk and bring out a member of their staff to point out scratches which were not highlighted...

Re: Buying a rural property - are any legal??

Re: Painting Advice

I buy a good quality matt emulsion for both the indoor and out door walls, usually have to water it down just to get it to spread, i think costakids 70 30 is a good indicator. We applied 2 coats on new plaster.

Re: Land Registry and Catastral problem

I agree joniee99, i would just try selling it as it is and yes Spanish people don't fret or get concerned over the half the things we brits do but i guess that has something to do with being out of our comfort zone..

I paid 60 euros for a large middle of the floor alpujarra rug in lanjaron this summer so a small one would be half the price.

Re: Financial Advisors...Again.

Yes, anyone who is trusting someone else with their money should always do checks and never just rely on word of mouth from another person.
Scammers are in abundance and their sales pitch is well rehearsed, the old saying goes if it sounds too good to be true etc..
