Re: Making Money via Youtube...Does anyone here have a Youtube Channel?

Ha, it's not my blog. Just a link I found very useful. But thanks, my heart is really in it, so when I've got the technical side sorted out, it is hopefully no problem and a lot of fun!

Re: Prunning vines

Ours need irrigation, particularly these days when the winters and springs have been so dry. The fruit forms over the summer months so needs water. Our neighbours that grow vines for their own wine and have the ones that grow like bushes on the ground also have irrigation pipes to theirs. I have al...

I enjoy it so much. I would do it as a hobby, and if it develops into something else then perfect, but thats...

Re: On a Scale of 1 to 10 how high would you rate living in Andalucia??

I'm assuming you are USA citizens from your statement "moving from the states"? For example, the majority of members here are from other European countries and will, therefore, have quite a different take on life in Andalucia than you may. For example, members from the UK are used to a na...

Re: Eligibility for hospital treatment in UK...

If you are in receipt of a UK state pension and were issued an S1 form by the DWP, you are able to use the NHS any time you like - there is no longer a residency requirement. Of course you need to be prepared for some long waits for treatment! Sid This was nice to find out. I did not know that with...

For those of us still using hotmail beware, yesterday I received an email purporting to be from netflix and stating that i owed them 22.90 ! as I don't have a netflix account (but my wife does and we have similar email addresses) I looked closer at the sender: Apple ID<[email protected].3 rivers.net>. ...

Re: On a Scale of 1 to 10 how high would you rate living in Andalucia??

Okay, i guess the reviews are mixed..just like i expected. We will be moving to Granada at the end of Summer. Its too late to back out. Sometimes the risk can be worth it, sometimes not. We wil just have to see. My partner speaks quite good spanish "B2 level" as they term it. As for me, i ...

Re: Threatening letter?

Yes I agree, POA is the only thing which overides Social Services. Also complaints to the Care Commision must be followed up. It is a lesson that folk learn too late as they believe that that they have power over their own lives when they do not. I couldn't agree more with you i believe the same to...

I use Windows Movie maker and downloaded it recently. Whether it's good or not will depend on what you are using it for. While travelling I take loads of short video on my phone which ae then uploaded automatically to Google photos, grouped by date. I download them on to the PC and import them into...

Re: Good reads over Xmas

Well if you are analytical..or economical, i would recommend 'Money Changes Everything´ by William Goetzmann. To be honest, i read the book because my Husband bought it for me as a gift, and anytime he would ask if i had read it, i would always feel so bad for saying No. So i gave in and read it. I ...
