Re: Coronavirus

Question: If we have been shut down for 15 days or so, we are told the incubation period is 15 days max, how come the number of infections is doubling every three days? I don't understand the Maths. Is shut-down not effective?

Re: Repair Shops Closed

Please check your facts Dude, according to my man, the Government changed the rules last night! He had a visit this morning from the "Man" and they stopped him dead. He's had to lay two mechanics.

Repair Shops Closed

Very Strange logic indeed: My car has died, I think from a Diesel Problem, whilst still in my garage on my fica in the Campo. The government,I am told, has closed all Garages/Repair shops to private motorists and told them that can only serve the freight industry during the close down. So no Grua an...

Re: Spanish Postal Service

Ours is open 8am till 2pm, max 3 people in the shop at any time otherwise wait outside and keep 1 metre apart. Correos Motos are out and about delivering as usual. I had a parcel from amazon yesterday so all looks reasonable.

Re: Coronavirus

QUESTION.
Are there any restrictions on how far one can travel to buy food/supplies etc. We live in the Campo and usually use several of the nearby Towns to obtain various items. Including as far as the Coast.

Re: ITV questions

My Range Rover Classic has a transmission handbrake which doesn't seem to operate on their machinery in Malaga. It has proved quite funny some years, even once having to get my "failed" certificate recinded by the supervisor by taking him and the mechanic out to the car park and making him...

Re: Palm Weevils

I use Nuprid 200SL on my Pheonix Canariensis ( I have 75 on my Finca). I drench them 4 times a year). The active ingredient is IMIDACLOPRID and I buy it from my Agricultural Merchant where I am a registered user. There is no problem at the present time in supply.

Keeping Fiscal Documents

We've been here 20 years and have kept everything that has any fiscal implications. We are Tax resident and have complied with all requirements ( hopefully!). The filing cabinets are full and we are downsizing, how long do other members reckon to keep paperwork down here, we used to say 7 years in B...
