Re: DAZN Help

Under Eu rules, you can use subscription services from one EU country in other EU countries for a limited number of days without a VPN / Smart DNS service. This is so "short stayers" can access their content when away. It is not for long term / expat use. eg you can use SkyGo in Spain with...

Re: Intelsat 907 / Satback Update - Major News!!!

Satellites can have multiple beams, so can have multiple spot beams.

They will do with I907 what they are doing with I901, ir add an MEV to it and move it to another location where it is required to take over another Intelsat satellite...

Re: Spanish TV changing because of 5G??

Just like when 4g was introduced, certain frequencies currently being used for terrestrial TV will be used for 5g. Channels in the affected frequency bands ( 694-790 MHz UHF band ie channels 50 - 60, inc the RTVE channels on 58 - 770 MHz) will be relocated to other frequencies below 690MHz) In theor...

Re: Is there a simple answer for uk tv?

If I bought an LG 55UM7610PLB what would I need to get roughly the equivalent of Freeview in the UK? Freeview - UK TV via a TV aerial, not available in Spain. A TV aerial in Spain pick up only SPanish digital channels. To get almost the same, you need to go via a satellite dish aligned to the Astra...

Re: UK TV on Netflix

I dont think that is anything to do with this "account sharing". That sounds more likely to be their "holiday" or "traveller" system...ie you can use UK paid services for a limited number of days in the EU withut VPNs / SNDS, before you need to log in again in the accou...

Re: UK TV on Netflix

More and more programs on UK TV are being co-produced by Netflix. For example, I'm a fan of the BBC drama 'Peaky Blinders'. The last series, just finished on BBC 1 a couple of weekends ago but is already on Netflix. The benefit of watching it on Netflix is that they have it in UHD. Of course will b...

Intelsat 907 / Satback Update - Major News!!!

Intelsat have today launched their first "Mission Extension Vehicle, or MEV" which can dock with satellites and take over propulsion. The first test for the MEV is for the Intelsat 901 satellite, which is running low on fuel. The Intelsat 901 satellite launched in June 2001 aboard an Arian...

You may find that when they say they have resolved the issue, i dare say they mean they have resolved the issues with recording system from a certain point in time. They may not have sorted out the corrupt files for the time period that you are wanting...simply as they do not have a full correct unc...

Re: Samsung TV issue

Only a handful of channels (Disney, and Dmax i think), use the word English for their second language stream, so on those channels what you are doing should work. But for all the others, which do not use the word English, but things like MUL, VO, Dos, QAA, you have to set them manually, since these ...

Rights for after the first three "game days" for La Liga are still up for grabs...after La Liga rejected all bids in the process for not meeting their requirements (probably not enough money - like they will get the money that they are after!). Current guess is the same as the second half ...

Discussed a bit here http://www.andalucia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=39291 They will show "more than 235 games a season live", which given there are 380 games a season suggests that their live coverage is approx all games shown by Sky and BT (Fri Nights, Sat lunch, Sat even, sat l...

Re: FA cup semi final

There are 380 epl games a season, so if they are showing "more than 235 live games a season", then this would suggest they are not showing all games live...missing approx 150 live games...which probably will be mostly 3pm KOs...

It says they have the rights to all EPL games, but not if all games will be live... I am not sure if "online" coverage in Europe is available for the 3pm games...cannot see any other european country / broadcaster showing all 3pm matches online this season...usually the EPL only allow one ...

DAZN Spain do have the rights to EPL in Spain, from the 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 seasons, taking over from Movistar who has them until the end of this season.

Re: Sky News Mystery on large dish

Sky News is on a vertical high polarity The correct default transponder frequency for sky, 11778, is also on a vertical high polarity So that is one thing in common as to why your boxes are not booting, or getting sky news. 12050 carries no channels...and it is a vertical high polarity... two reason...
