Re: Praise for good customer service.

The shop is responsible for 2 years but on most products they have the usual 1 year's manufacture's guarantee to fall back on .On that basis I think many retailers are coming to the conclusion it's easier to just to send faulty goods back to the manufacturers and not argue with the customer The manu...

Re: CANCELLING MOVISTAR & RETURNING THEIR EQUIPMENT

It goes to show the importance of reviewing your contract regularly because it's possible to get stuck on dated tariffs.

Re: Firestick advice

When I tried this, I got the UK apps when I set it to the UK address, but no access to Spanish Prime video, just UK Prime for which I do not have a subscription. Changing it back to Spain loses the UK apps, but I get access to Spanish Prime. Is there any way I can get both together as I can't find ...

Re: Locksmith

Mine wanted something like 150 Euros plus vat at about 11:00 am but as nothing been negotiated beforehand, which was my fault I suppose, I refused to pay it. I gave him 100 total, which I still think was too much and told him to take me to court if he wanted the rest, which funnily enough he didn't ...

Re: Locksmith

When my key wouldn't work, I called a locksmith who charged an outrageous fee to just spray WD40 into the lock. I've got to hand it to him though, It sorted out the problem.

Re: Firestick advice

You can keep your Prime.es but apps like Iplayer and ITV hub won't be available but the Spanish version of Prime will. If you are just interested in Prime, this might be the best option because the content, especially stuff produced by Amazon is similar. Or you can change your Country if you are int...

Re: Firestick advice

I wouldn't be comfortable giving my Amazon details to anyone due its security implications so I don't think that's a good idea . You don't need to buy a Firestick from the UK either. They can be bought on the Spanish site but you mention in your OP that you already have one. All you need to do is fo...

Re: DAZN Help

Yes it has worked for me in the UK fine as well as other places I have visited but not with a VPN so he needs to make sure it's not active. You might find that there is a fair usage abroad condition so it might have a time limit. This I cannot confirm because my trips abroad are for a few days at mo...

Re: Firestick advice

That’s fine but then what was the point of your post? If you post about your likes and dislike it becomes confusing so don’t blame me if you go off theme. The OP wants to know how to get UK apps onto his firestick. He already has a VPN, which in the case of the fiestick doesn’t help until the apps a...

Re: Firestick advice

We have a fire stick in the uk with everything on all watchable obviously. When in Spain BBC and all the uk based apps recognise that we are in Spain and will not play. Only able to watch Netflix from UK and sky sports. What I am saying is do not set it up from the uk if living in Spain.. It doesn’...

Re: Firestick advice

it is posible to use The UK version on the Fire Stick with a DNS server or VPN in Spain but only if you have a UK Prime subscription. Try the free month offer and it works fine.

Re: Changing to Spanish driving licence

Correct, Even though between my wife and I we don't earn enough to have to pay any tax in the UK, We still have to fill out individual returns. The letting company normally has to hold the tax. A declaration of non-residential status has to be filled out to so as not to be taxed at source but the Sp...

Re: "Can't hear what they are saying..."

The Amazon Echo version 3, not the Dot, can be bought for 70 Euros and has decent sound with the added benefits of being a internet radio and music player. For the conspiracists among us who think that Amazon is listening to every word we are saying and will use it against us at some future date, it...

There isn't an IOS version of Android.
IOS is the operating system that iPhone or iPads use so you need to disregard it.

Re: Is there a simple answer for uk tv?

My Samsung TV ITV app has live TV too. The solution to navigate TVMucho with ease is the Fire TV. The remote is built for armchair TV viewing and even controls the basic functions of the TV. For years we have been trying to use computer/phones to control TVs with limited success, Even Windows gave u...

Re: Is there a simple answer for uk tv?

There are many work arounds to get every channel free but often require patience when things aren't working properly. This is why previously Now TV and now the Fire Stick are the best options. Updates are automatic, the hardware prices are good plus the Firestick can be used with all the dodgy chann...

Re: Is there a simple answer for uk tv?

TV Mucho is a subscription based service and works in a similar way to Freeview with a 7 day catch up service which can be accessed through the TV guide. It can be installed on the Firestick a watched without a VPN or DNS. To add to Johnandali's solution, it's also possible to watch TV player for li...

Re: Malt Loaf

I Love Malt loaf and when available, which is very rarely, I buy the Soreen brand from Carrefour. I usually cut the slices very thin and add a little butter and have a couple of slices for breakfast with a cup of tea.
