Thanks all. I will look for the flours you recommend and try them when we are in Spain again at the end of next week. I shall also take some of my regular flour from UK as a control. I am an experienced bread maker using my Panasonic machine in UK but I have been unsuccessful with the German machine...

Strong wheat flour for bread machine?

Anybody know a local (preferably Sevilla) source of good, strong wheat flour, both white and brown, suitable for use in bread machines? We have tried out what is available in our local supermarkets and had a look in Carrefour, Sevilla but have found nothing that works well enough. What do other brea...

Rafiki I'm in my thirties and I wouldn't go into any place 2nd line of the port either, very tacky and sleazy place, some of the front line is tacky as well but the biggest turn off for me is having to dodge all the cars, no fun at all and so not relaxing. I do enjoy walking the sea wall. Much more...

Cristales para terrazas sin marcos..these are glass curtains with no frame that can be folded to one side and dont take up much room...but they are not cheap. That system seems to fulfil most of the criteria. I have found several refs. on Google, one supplier in Sevilla so I'll be following this up...

Winter enclosure for verandah?

Our side patio has a covered section we refer to as the veranda. It is about 4.5m wide by 3.5m deep and about 2.5m high at the front end. The sides are solid brick walls with UPVC double doors on one side and the roof is a metal frame covered with corrugated sheets. This area is accessed from our li...

As I understand it, you are actually not allowed under Spanish law to totaly disinherit one of your children. This doesn't mean he/she has to have an equal share with the others and you can specify 1% to him or her and the other 99% split between the others. I'm sure an abogado would soon set you r...

But is it possible to have 'back to back' wills in Spain as in UK whereby on the first demise the surviving spouse inherits and then' on the second demise the kids inherit (equally or unequally)? (We do have our Spanish house in joint names.)

We have a complicated family structure and it is not our wish for all our 'kids' to inherit equal share in our assets in Spain. Our Spanish solicitor advised that a simple will will only accommodate equal share amongst them and it becomes very complicated to divi up unequal shares or even no share. ...

Hi Mike,

I have a FULL/FULL voucher for this Friday so I'll let you know if I have any problems.

I have had negative replies from others in the office apart from Lisa but they have relented when I insist.

Parking near SVQ?

Is there anywhere near Seville airport to park long-ish term? We visit every 2-3 weeks for a few days so a car of our own might make sense if we could park it cheaply near the airport.

Re: car rental full tank con

I was furious last time I rented a car through Carjet... Book through Premiercarjet. Same company as Carjet but they tend to deal with companies and regular travelers. They will arrange full/full on request. Similarly if you get allocated a hire company that you are not happy with Lisa will change ...
