Postal Express envelopes

Postby gerrynag » Wed Aug 28, 2019 4:50 pm

I am applying for a passport and I have been told I have to include an a self-addressed prepaid Postal Express plastic envelope with the application. Apparently, you get it from the Correos.
Just wondered if anyone knew about them and if they are called something different in Spanish ? :problem:

Is this for a routine renewal of a UK passport from Spain? Maybe the rules have changed but I did mine a few weeks ago and there was no such requirement. Both my old and new passports were delivered by courier in separate packages. I think it was DHL?

Are you sure you are on the www.gov.uk site and not some rip-off third party site?

You don't say if this is a Spanish or U K passport ! I renewed my U K passport online last January, I received my new passport by courier in 10 days.

In fact, it is neither. It's for an Irish Passport and as I said, it specifies that I need to enclose the pre-paid Postal Express plastic envelope.
