We have a property in Andalucia, near Ronda. We would like to let it out for holiday lets a couple of times a year. Is this easy to do in Spain?

Holiday Let
Re: Holiday Let
The short answer is no.
A lot of requirements are now in place. Yo need to go to your local Ayuntamiento and find out what their requirements are. In all probability the requirements will vary between Town Halls, even individuals

Re: Holiday Let
You have to follow similar rules to hotels now. Not easy but plenty of people overcome the problems.

Re: Holiday Let
By the time you have paid the tax which will be 24% with no allowances next year and the electricity for the air conditioning which you must have and are not allowed to restrict, most people I know have decided it is just not worth it.
