Anyone else losing their marbles?

Postby Manchesteral » Sat Feb 03, 2024 10:21 pm

Anyone else losing their marbles? Twenty years ago I could do the Telegragh crossword in around 7 minutes, I am now at the stage where I can barely do the Mirror crossword in the same time span ! I haven't completed the Telegraph crossword in under 15 minutes recently, is it my age ?

not your age but the state of the world ... never done crosswords but i do find living life more difficult than i used to ... am weighed down by the continuing drought here and weird weather ... add into that the dire straits of UK, USA, Ukraine, Israel/Palestine et al ... whatever happened to 'Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all men' ?!

Oddly Enough Manchesteral, I always found crosswords in The Mail & Mirror as difficult as The Telegraph
I doubt you are losing your marbles, or getting old.....could be the compilers are getting cleverer!
