Yes to all those.......just make sure you're wearing a helmet out on the open road (ie away from town)
My reference ..........the Spanish group I go out with.............

Enrique thanks for reply,
just to clarify me I cycle here and in spain and for the most part I cycle alone as I just do to stay a bit healthier...
we were chatting about cycling and a the rules and because one day I was cycling in rural spain and I cane on a guy and when I started cycling aside he directed me to single file...
it was a bit of a windy road so when it came up in conversation I felt the need to know just for me...
regards me...

Always ride single file when the wind is blowing.
Re: cycling
I don't wear a cycling helmet here and I cycle on my commute in London most days, is it the law you must wear a cycling helmet in Spain ?

Re: cycling
Hi jogger,
I'm told by my Spanish cycle buddies its compulsory to wear a cycle helmet outside of Town/city limits, but ok not to within..... . Some cities vary on this (a usual Spanish practice) .
Need to find the Traffic and Road Safety act approved in 2014........
Some wording from the Act..............
"Motorists and, where appropriate, the occupants of bicycles and cycling in general, will be required to use the helmet in local, toll roads and crossings in the cases and under the conditions prescribed by regulation, with its obligatory use by children under sixteen, and also by those running on intercity roads. "

Hi rafiki,
Thanks......a good find..................
As a general rule the Spanish drivers are very good up this way, going wide when overtaking and holding back on blind corners / hill tops.

From some of my cycling pals on Facebook!
Drivers here take it as a challenge to see how close they can get!

Thanks Enrique and rafiki, I'll probably change to wearing a helmet when we move over next year, it'll also be better for the balding head
