Not important - just curious......
Our Mercadona - Marchena, 60k east of Sevilla - has a notice saying that it's closed next Tuesday 20 January. We wondered if it was a regional or local holiday, but we can find no other info......
Without us popping back there to ask the staff, we wondered if anyone out there had any idea why?
Perhaps a stock take? Or something else?
Any thoughts welcomed......

Re: 20 January
Probably to do with this.
Dia de San Sebastián (patron saint of Marchena)
Fiestas patronales en honor a "San Sebastián", el 20 de Enero. Se procesiona la imagen del patrón de Marchena
