Register with Endesa online

Postby winter_sun » Sat Sep 07, 2024 4:14 pm

Hi everyone, I am a non resident and don't have a spanish mobile.
I have been paying my electricity via direct debit for a long timeb but never registered with Endesa online to get PDF bills etc
I see this youtube video for registering https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1X15n2Xu8uc

Questions:
- Does it have to be a spanish mobile?
- What does the Endesa contract number look like?

Thanks!

I don't remember having to give a mobile number when we registered but it's been a while. I had a look at what they say now and I guess you might have to have a Spanish mobile as they send an sms to verify. It might be worthwhile getting a Spanish pay as you go sim (it's free and just put €5 on). I assume this is the link you are using (in English) https://www.endesa.com/en/advice/proces ... lient-area . Remember when it says document you need to say which document you used when you set up the contract (Nie or Passport) - if it was passport and you've renewed the passport since, you'll need to use the old number, that's why Nie is better as it doesn't change. If you haven't got an invoice ever you might have a problem because you can see the contract number top right of the invoice. Ours is 12 digits starting with 5000 (no letters) but last time it asked for cups which started with ES
Hope this helps. You could try a UK mobile but I guess you'd need to enter it as 00447.......... or +447........

Winter Sun.
Maybe you are unaware that you can get a mobile SIM card that will allow you to have both a Spanish and UK number.
It could be very useful in your case.
Good luck.

I wasn't aware of that.

Gerry, I can't see how that would be possible but who knows. You can have a dual sim phone of course which I have, one UK sim and one Spanish sim.

Hi,

Is the phone esim ready ? ............ have a read up

" An eSIM is a form of SIM card that is embedded directly into a device. Instead of an integrated circuit located on a removable SIM card, typically made of PVC, an eSIM consists of software installed onto an eUICC chip permanently attached to a device. Wikipedia"

Some light reading

Mrs E has one on latest Moto phone.
