That dreaded moment has arrived; our dentist has retired and cannot find anyone to take over her book.
Sooo...we need to find a new one, preferably one who has a few years left in them
Must be very gentle, preferably a lady dentist but not imperative. We have had good results with Scandinavians in health matters so that might be a bonus. Closer to Pizzara the better.
Anyone any suggestions...personal experience is so helpful.
Thanks in anticipation.

Ok then, one week on and no advice so far!
How's about anyone with a recommendation "close" to the Guadalhorce Region?

I am disappointed you have not had any replies Country boy, I live in Álora not far from you and was looking forward to seeing some recommendations.
I asked my Spanish neighbours about local dentists but seems they only visit the dentist when they have a problem and dont keep to the same one.
At the moment my old dentist in the UK sees me when I pop back to UK to visit family for checkup and any treatment but this is not ideal.

Thanks Alora Man.
It is a bit of a surprise that no one has come forward, p'raps there's no good dentist to be found in our region anymore. A shame really as my old one at Alhaurin was a gem.
I am quite ready to admit that, although Ex.Army, 6'4" in my stocking feet and like rugby....Dentists.....BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

We too live in Pizarra but I have a dentist in Fuengirola, well worth the trip. It is the English Dental Practice. Alex McCubbin. He's by the horses roundabout, same road as train station, usually easy to park. Best dentist I have ever used.

I use a dentist in Coin. She is very good and gentle and would recommend her. She and her dental nurse have some English too which can be bonus for those not fluent in Spanish.
