Casarabonela

Postby Miro » Sun Mar 04, 2012 11:03 pm

Enjoyed a lovely al fresco meal today at the Bar Restaurante Nueva in the Plaza Buena Vista (and it is) in Casarabonela. The meat cooked in their wood smoke oven is great, the service was friendly and the prices very reasonable.

I like smoked food (not cheese) but it tends to repeat on me later! :(

Not sure if I really want to share this....but the municipal swimming pool, right at the top of the village, costs €2 to get in, you can spend the day there, and they have a good selection of food at the bar, for example, 2 (big) camperos, a ration of fries, a ration of homemade croquetas and 2 drinks, all for €10. Plenty of stamina or a healthy donkey required to get you there. Free parking for the brave.

Hey thats a beautiful location you mentioned , Casarabonela. but it looks like a tough destination to reach to. Are there any transportation facilities around the places to get you to Casarabonela?

You can get Airport taxis from Malaga Airport, or get a car hired which is also a reasonaly cheap option. The approximate distance in miles from Malaga Spain to Casarabonela Spain is about 24 miles or 38.62 Kilometers that will take you around 25 minutes to reach Casarabonela on an average speed of about 60mph
