Locksmith
Re: Locksmith
Do you have house insurance?
Most insurance companies have an emergency callout locksmith for such problems.
Cheers

Re: Locksmith
When my key wouldn't work, I called a locksmith who charged an outrageous fee to just spray WD40 into the lock. I've got to hand it to him though, It sorted out the problem.
Re: Locksmith
I called out the guy from Rincon one night at 22.00. Quote over phone of 120E to get us in our property. He realised that i had left a key on the inside lock and produced a flexi disc, slid in recess and opened the door in 30 seconds. Bill still 120, tried to negotiate but no chance. Your in, PAY
Re: Locksmith
We needed a locksmith for a friend's house that had been broken into and the locks to the front reija and garage were trashed. They had to be removed and replaced. It was 140€ for emergency call out to Torrox from Competa, removing and and repairing the slider bars, then replacing the 2 locks.

Re: Locksmith
Mine wanted something like 150 Euros plus vat at about 11:00 am but as nothing been negotiated beforehand, which was my fault I suppose, I refused to pay it. I gave him 100 total, which I still think was too much and told him to take me to court if he wanted the rest, which funnily enough he didn't take me up on.

Alhaurin el Grande since 99, working at the airport since 2011.
Re: Locksmith
Yes it is but the locksmith did say if the door was dead locked he could not have got in using that method
Re: Locksmith
I got locked out of the flat one night around 10pm with the keys still inside on the other side. Charged me 130 which was confirmed over the phone beforehand, although it was a lot of money (to me) I paid it without hesitation. I was in need and they helped me get in to my home! Same thing has happened to me in UK and I was charged £100 (told me £120 if i needed a receipt)
Re: Locksmith
smash a window and call home insurance following day must be cheaper.
Re: Locksmith
Thats good advice. Glass everywhere, pay an excess and have a claim against your address. Nooooo thanks.

Why do you need to smash a window?jhonie99 wrote:smash a window and call home insurance following day must be cheaper.
As I said in my original reply I believe most house insurance companies cover the cost of a locksmith.
According to my policy, I believe mine, Linea Directa, does as does my burglar alarm company, Seciritas Direct.
