Our community have all the lost stations back as well. A new dish and picking up the "millitary sattelite" discussed earlier. The cost was €900 between 80 apartments. So if it lasts six months its a good deal.

If strong rumours amongst fellow satellite hobbyists are true I would like to see this chap sort out any problems if and when they decide to encrypt using PowerVu

PowerVu is TOTALLY secure and there's absolutely no way whatsoever that anyone will be able to watch these channels.

Hi Patricia,

What does it do............ :?:

Just fire off iPlayer Downloads and you will see the programs you have downloaded, click start arrow and away it goes.

Currently fired off the Jimi Hendrix that I download yesterday when looking at the "new" iPlayer.... :D

When I click on it it just says open and I get a whole load of symbols! When I download is there something I should download to. I have downloaded them to my computer and also a memory stick. I wonder if that is what I am doing wrong!!

I remember earlier in this thread that Patricia was confusing Filmon and iPlayer.
Filmon has a "save as", iPlayer doesn't.

When I click the mouse a menu comes up which says save as. I do that for filmon. I tried that as I had tried to download from the iplayer and I was unable to download every time I went into the iplayer it said "there are no downloads"! so I did it that way and I can now download but not play it!!

Do you use something like Adobe to play your iplayer downloads! Perhaps it has something to do with that!!

Ok this works it is straight forward......

As you are in Spain you will have setup a UK IP or geo unblocker..............like SmartyDNS ... Expat Shield etc.

You have BBC iPlayer already downloaded.

You can either.... double click in the iplayer short cut ..the iplayer window pops up and will show any downloads you have previously downloaded. If you have no downloads then use the -> Go to BBC iplayer website, click this and it will start a default Browser, in my case its starts IE and shows the BBC iplayer web site, pick a program and press download, answer a few questions that come up about age etc.. and Parental control.

That is how it works...........

The other way is go to bbc.co.uk/iplayer site pick a program and it will bring up iplayer download window, and download.

That's it..........no save as........nothing............

I've tried various Browsers and they all do the same.........

My aunty is in Fortuna near Murcia and still getting all the UK tv on 1.3 dish. We are on the CDS and get nothing now. I thought all of Spain had lost out.
