It was very much expected that there would be a change just before the world cup.
The new key was posted all over the place very soon after.

We were off air for 24 hours. The codes were available very quickly.

Re: Satellite Latest Intelsat 907
I know someone who had this system installed back in April. They are going back out there next month so I guess their screens will be blank. They are not that techie minded so will they be able to put the new code in themselves do you think or will they have to call the bloke who fitted it?
Thanks
Thanks

Some boxes you can input the codes your self using the remote.
Other boxes need the file uploading via USB...usually done by calling the "installer" for a charge.
Guess which of those two sets of boxes are mainly being sold for this system......?

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

Thanks Sat. It'll be interesting to see what happens here. He bought the system that was apparently 250e fitted, which included new box and dish with no monthly fee's. Also with the promise of "call me back anytime if you've a problem"satandpcguy wrote:Some boxes you can input the codes your self using the remote.

Like Sid I thought it was too good to be true. We may find out now.
