FA cup semi final

Postby markwilding » Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:46 pm

It seems that DAZN has the rights for the FA cup in Spain. It is an Internet based company so a decent internet speed is needed.
It costs €4.99 month but if you want to watch the semi final that the BBC doesn’t have, then they offer a free month’s trial. This is a company that in other countries has the rights to the EPL at a reasonable price so might even gain the rights here in Spain.

DAZN Spain do have the rights to EPL in Spain, from the 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 seasons, taking over from Movistar who has them until the end of this season.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

That is interesting. I have signed up for the free month and got it working on various devices including iPad and iPhone. Using the Aptoide TV android app store, I have installed the app onto my Fire TV very easily as well as onto the PS4.There is an APP for TVs but as mine is set to the UK store I can't access it without losing the UK apps.
At the moment the Birmingham v Leeds match is being shown live. The App has obviously picked up that my preference language is English, as a result, the commentary is in English.

It would suspect that the 4.99 euros subscription fee will be increased when they start showing EPL but if they don't, this will be by far the best way of getting it and even if it was doubled, it would still offer brilliant value, especially as the 3 o'clock games will be available

It says they have the rights to all EPL games, but not if all games will be live...
I am not sure if "online" coverage in Europe is available for the 3pm games...cannot see any other european country / broadcaster showing all 3pm matches online this season...usually the EPL only allow one (or 2) 3pm kick offs to european broadcasters...so would assume this would also apply to this online service also, and coverage of matches not shown live available on demand or delayed...

Reading up a little about this, it seems they will have rights to every match.

There are 380 epl games a season, so if they are showing "more than 235 live games a season", then this would suggest they are not showing all games live...missing approx 150 live games...which probably will be mostly 3pm KOs...

The 3 o’clock games have always been the problem especially if you, as I do, support one of the less glamorous teams. I used to subscribe to premier league plus and before that Bein Arabic, which both tended to show everything before it became more difficult to pay.
I tend to agree with you though that not all games will be shown, A bit of wishful thinking on my behalf. I will definitely subscribe with the added benefit of being able to as and when dip in and out
