TD Sytems TV

Postby john the baptist » Fri Feb 07, 2020 8:14 am

Hi we bought a cheap tv from Carrefour which was on offer. Its their own make TD Systems and is very good for the price. This make is dedicated to the spanish market and i assume that its called something else around europe.

Obviously everyhting these days is made in china. Does anyone else have one of these TV. The issue is I cant find this make listed on any universal remote controls nor any apps on the phone which is a pain as the dog loves remotes and they are always being lost.

I know that our OK remotes work with TCL and Hitachi but does anyone else know what other makes work with TD Systems???? are they known by another name?? if so what is it??

Many thanks

john

Just bought a TD Systems tv as an xmas pressy to myself. I use a programmable remote to control it. To be fair i have only programmed a couple of functions as i pretty much only use the tv as a display for my android box. No reason wjy you couldn't ptogram a bunch of othrr functions aseell it's normally very simple, point and squirt.

I also have a stock app on my xiaomi phone which can be programmed with the appropriatebremote commands.

Can you not buy one direct from tdsystems.es?

Or checkout ebay.es, seem to have at least one listed for 11 euros

Maybe i should have said configured rather than programmed, which i guess has different connotations.

Haven't tried the mi remote app with the td systems tv as i basically only turn it off/on. It does have a huge list of manufacturers, it TD not included?

That's a shame. Still there are many shops, including Amazon who sell TDSystems remotes, or 100% compatible (apparently) replacements
