Life Assurance

Postby Paddy Pumpkin » Thu Nov 29, 2018 12:09 am

I want to take out a life assurance policy on the life of someone else. The type of policy I want is widely available in the UK but I don't know if it is available in Spain and also what is the terminology used to describe it. Can anyone help me and even recommend where I can get this type of policy

Basically if during the next 20 years I die the my wife gets XXXX or if wife dies I get XXXX. The policy only pays out once i.e on death of myself or my wife. Also it is important that the policy payout is direct to the surviving spouse and does not form part of the estate of the dead person.

I have a life insurance policy with my bank, cajasur. I believe it is 28 (?) Euros a month, and pays out on death or disability. As i am not married it pays out to my parents, or rather my dad now.

Is that what you mean?

You are looking for "Level Term assurance" joint life first death policy.
