The Spanish national television channel TVE has broadcast a special report on this international photography exhibition. Have you ever heard of Chafaina? Unless you live in the village of Totalán in Málaga province, the answer is probably no. Every year at this time the villagers host a festival to share this ancient meat and potato dish with the rest of the world. Autumn gastronomy festivals began last month.

This month we are in the thick of things, with chafaina, as well as roasted chestnuts, mushrooms, grape products, country picnics and a wide variety of other celebrations that bring local traditions to life. Visit our Home Page for all the information you need to continue "pueblo-hopping" across Andalucia this month.

Food is not the only thing on the agenda this month. Our new and improved Sierra Nevada ski station is better than ever - thanks to tremendous investment in everything from ski lifts to snow machines. Read our 2008 Sierra Nevada News to learn more.

Finally we have an exclusive interview with world famous Spanish golfer Sergio García. Enjoy November with!
