Currently based in Coín we are looking at areas of the Guadalhorce valley nearer the coast and Mijas-Fuengirola-Benalmadena areas for a possible re-location.
Given the impending expansion of Malaga airport, as well as the plan to build a new road to connect to the A357 Cartama road, I am looking for reliable information on:
- areas affected by Malaga airport flight paths (including the impact of a second runway) and,
- areas impacted by the new road scheme mentioned above.
Can anyone help? All replies gratefully received! Thanks

We live in the Guadalhorce valley and have to say that the planes landing and taking off from AGP cause absolutely no interference with our peace and quiet. We are about 30 mins drive from the airport and although we see all the planes come and go we rarely hear them....they come in quite high over the mountains when landing, throttle back and never get as far as us when taking off as they veer away towards Granada. I don't think you would have a problem living here.
It is quite entertaining looking at them thro' binoculars, liveries and names seem to change with the seasons!
But then if you live in Coin you should know that already
