Hi all itv is due in June but due to a big wedding cannot be in spain until 10th July car would be in secure parking and the itv can be booked for the day I arrive i can drive straight there my question, is there any issue having the itv done in July when it is due in june

Hi s&t,
Just done a similar exercise. Drove straight to ITV station had copy of booking form in car.
No problems, was treated just like a normal in date ITV

The law says that you cannot drive a car without an ITV. It also says that keeping it in your garage without an ITV is not allowed. As with all things like this, it depends on the attitude of the officer who stops you. The chances or being stopped are minute and your explanation and ITV booking should suffice. The fine is less than paying a truck to take it for you.
