Ooohh lobster!!

Thought I'd update this thread.
I quite proud to say I didn't measure any of the ingredients out, just put in what looked right.
Half cucumber not peeled
Half red pepper
Green spanish pepper
Some tomatoes
Tabasco
Olive oil and white wine vinegar to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cloves of garlic (we like garlic :) )
Half a hard bread roll soaked in water

After I blended and blended it looked like the soup I've had in a few places. But then I sieved it all (took a while) and let it stand over night.
It now had a more liquid than soup consistancy.

I remembered a trick a lady told me in a typcial spanish bar once, to make it more like a drink she would add a little milk.
Had a glass full with some milk added and v nice.

Tried some without the milk and also very nice!
It went down very well and even my boyfriend (who is not a huge fan of Gazpacho) asked me if I can make some more...

Ooohh lobster!!
Personally I prefer lobster without the gaspacho and gaspacho without bread and sieved and served in a glass..a big glass. :)

On the Andalucia channel Antequera was featured and they showed a woman making Porra Antequerana.

She only used bread, tomatoes, and peppers for the main Porra and the garnish served with it was chopped cured ham, peppers and chopped egg (sometimes they serve with tuna as well) and did everything by hand - with a pestel and mortar if you please - if you get a chance try to watch it - very interesting.
I used to be indecisive but now I´m not so sure.

Sherry Vinegar. It's key. Doesn't taste quite right otherwise.
