Re: F1 2024
Maybe Verstappen will quit in a huff as ordered by his Dad? Maybe someone will actually do something shocking?

Re: F1 2024
First time for a while I haven't watched a race. A combination of it being on on a Saturday and the inevitably of the winner meaning I prefer to watch other sport.

Re: F1 2024
Hola Supersue! Do you know that in years to come if young Oliver Bearman becomes a World Champion I will always remember that I watched his debut when he went from 11th to finish 7th but I may not remember who actually won the race.
Re: F1 2024
You will remember because Max wins every week. Nothing to forget.

Not so predictable or boring in Australia.

Re: F1 2024
So, if Verstappen isn’t racing- it’s interesting? That rather proves the point we have been making. The only way to make F1 interesting is to get rid of Verstappen!

Re: F1 2024
So what happened to Hamilton has passed by you completely? There were a lot of ‘incidents’ and ‘exciting’ things going on but, thank goodness, no serious injuries. Verstappen was a part of that but not the whole. For me, anyway.
Re: F1 2024
I felt sorry for Williams. Shame Albon didn’t manage to bring home a valuable point. Interesting read on Williams “ not quite in time” manufacturing!
I cannot wait to see Lewis partnering Charles at Ferrari.

Re: F1 2024
Ive been saying that Red Bull are cheating for the last 2 seasons. Nobody can be that far ahead for so long without the others catching up.
Re: F1 2024
Used to look forward to the season. Haven’t watched it once this year only news highlights.

Re: F1 2024
Adrian Newey is leaving Red Bull. That will make for interesting times ahead …

Re: F1 2024
The reason why he is leaving is the important bit - he is not happy with the Horner scandal.
Riveting stuff - much better than the racing!

Ferrari bound.
Re: F1 2024
Ferrari?
Dont rule out max and Adrian to Mercedes.
Personally I hope Adrian goes to Ferrari.
Must be great to be able to dictate your pay!

Re: F1 2024
I wonder who Red Bull would rather keep - Horner or Newey? All this ballyhoo because one silly woman couldn’t tell an even sillier man to get lost.
Re: F1 2024
No one stupid but powerful man abusing his position. It showed how powerful he is at RB when he was found not guilty even with all the evidence. Those text messages should have got him fired. RB should have sacked Christian Moaner and kept Adrian.
Re: F1 2024
He also has a massive offer from Aston Martin, don't forget that, historically, he doesn't want to live in Italy. He has had previous offers and turned them down on this basis.

Re: F1 2024
I can't agree, CostaKid. After just one message she objected to, she should have put a stop to it. If she did not feel able to do that, for whatever reason, she should have gone to HR straight away. That she let it go on for so long, and sent flirty messages back, shows every reason why women should not be allowed in male-dominated workplaces. He was an idiot but she allowed him space in which to be an idiot. I have no sympathy for either of them but less for the woman. It's too easy, these days, for anonymous women to destroy men for being men.
Re: F1 2024
Reading "Autosport" (other publications are available) the Newey situation is far from clear cut as it seems that, while he has mentioned leaving to a collegue nothing has been said to higher management and there is no resignation as yet. Further he is subject to 12 months notice and a further 12months 'gardening leave' that puts his usefulness round 2027. A long wait
