Carpets, rugs, and upholstery can reflect expensive
investments and like anything of value, they need maintenance. Even
though wall-to-wall carpeting is not that common in Andalucia, homes
in the region sport many beautiful and expensive rugs, many of which
come from the Maghreb region of Northern Africa or even farther
afield.
Carpeting, rugs, and upholstery absorb the most
wear and tear of anything in your home. Sand, dirt, grime, and constant
traffic can all combine to make your investments deteriorate rapidly.
On the other hand, they can last for years and in some cases, for
generations with a little professional care. Look after your investments
and they will look after you.
