Hay fever season

How is everyone coping?

We aren’t doing too badly so far. Normally by now we would be really suffering. Perhaps the rain mid month changed levels?

I'm hoping that my regime of taking local honey daily has worked as it did previously. I used to suffer dreadfully even needing an inhaler and lots of anti histamines and nasal sprays until someone told me that her husband suffered until he tried the local honey.
So far not a nose twitch or watery eye so fingers crossed!

We've been bad for weeks now. It may be the mango trees that I think are out in flower late March followed closely by the avocados. The olives here are just about to flower, and so it goes on!

We have terrible harvest mite here and have had the worst bites ever. We used to have them when we lived in France and have had a few bites over the years here but nothing like this past couple of weeks. I had a dozen on one foot and my OH has then on his back and waistline, about 16 in all that come up in hard blisters and itch for at least a week. I can only think the Easter rains have brought them to life after a few years of drought. Even my friend that lives in an urban house with a small mostly paved garden has had an attack of them.

Never heard of harvest mites. They sound horrid.

More rain today. Great that will nullify broom and oak pollen.
