Parliamentary debate on assisted dying

Postby Manchesteral » Fri May 24, 2024 1:57 pm

I see from various media outlets that the government have put a damper on the assisted dying debate citing the upcoming elections, anyone any thoughts on this ?

Its been legal for almost 4 years. 370 people in Spain have chosen to make that decision since then.

There would be an uproar if animals were suffering so it is high time that people should be able to decide for themselves when they have reached the end of their tether. Unimaginable pain and having no quality of life with no hope of ever getting better or being well again, horrendous.
