garden peas
is it too late to try and grow garden peas...from seed? If not, what seed does anyone recommend....??
Re: garden peas
As Sid says it is definitely too late for peas, but if you want to grow something else there are plenty of easy to grow veg. if you are able to water them. Peppers, chillis, aubergines, melons, squash.... it depends how much space you have.tjtops wrote:is it too late to try and grow garden peas...from seed? If not, what seed does anyone recommend....??
Might be worth a visit to to local fereteria or garden centre and see what seedlings they are selling. and buy a few of those you would like. This way you could get your plants in the ground in plenty of time for this summer.
thanks Bob....I did get 3 melon plants the other day to try! And WAITING for some runner bean seeds to come up (in pots at mo)....I have a fair bit of space, all newly dug over and ready to go!! Got some tomato plants in...might think about peppers but sadly don't like/use any of the other thngs so other suggestions welcome!

Does anyone know where else would sell seedlings? Since moving to near Huelva way, no ferreterias or garden centres have them in, and say "yo no se" when i ask where i could buy some!
They were sold all over, Motril way!
Thanks
