Yes, it's too late.

Peas give up when the temperature gets over 25c. Try planting them next year in the late summer for a winter crop or very early in the spring.

As Sid says it is definitely too late for peas, but if you want to grow something else there are plenty of easy to grow veg. if you are able to water them. Peppers, chillis, aubergines, melons, squash.... it depends how much space you have.

Might be worth a visit to to local fereteria or garden centre and see what seedlings they are selling. and buy a few of those you would like. This way you could get your plants in the ground in plenty of time for this summer.

Does anyone know where else would sell seedlings? Since moving to near Huelva way, no ferreterias or garden centres have them in, and say "yo no se" when i ask where i could buy some!

They were sold all over, Motril way!

Thanks

Given the dodgy weather at the moment, it may not be too late for peas - we sow successionally up until May...but your climate is warmer than mine!

er, yours tj :) it says you are in Alhaurin el Grande, which is generally warmer and a tad more tropical than my climate, which is 700m above sea level up in the hills... Whats the weather like by you at the mo? Feels like a typical british winter up here :( might have to come to the coast for a warm.
