Trees that like plenty of water

Postby gerryh » Sun Aug 13, 2023 8:00 am

My multi-chamber septic tank discharges onto a small piece of sloping land.
Canes grow very well where the water is discharged.
I want to remove them but their roots probably stabilise the ground.
Are there any trees, or shrubs that don't grow too big but like a regular water supply of about 250 litres a day?
Cheers
Gerry
