Nice "barn find" in Spain

Postby Devils Advocate » Fri Apr 11, 2014 4:00 pm

Recently arrived home after a nice few weeks at the casa. Stumbled across this fella a Spanish mate had languishing in his almacen.

Under all that muck the car was in incredibly stunning condition for 40 years of age.

The pup never came with the vehicle or I may have bought it

Seriously though, he is after selling it. He had an offer on it whilst we were there which I told him to reject without really knowing its true worth. Glad I did now as I reckon he could pull a few bob more for it.

I reckon it's a CJ3 or 5 (obviously under the Spanish Bravo name), with a lovely old Perkins in it.

Anyone got an idea of value on these, or know anything about them? We had a Wrangler many years back but I think this old thing is worth a lot more, as I say condition is incredible for age.

Hi CK. Yes it's a runner, started up with a jump off a good battery straight away. Looks like an ITV would be a formality.
I advised against accepting 5k for it as there are a couple of really ropey ones advertised at 4k plus over there as we speak.......5k was bid straight away on it when the chap saw it.

Nimmy, never heard of the Mack mascots, just googled them and it could well be couldn't it? I'll ask him.
