This festival which has been running more than 30 years features about 40 rockabilly, blues, surf, and boogie-woogie bands from Europe, and USA.

The Starlite Festival is a two month-long music and cultural event held in July / August at the Cantera de Nagüeles, in Marbella. It is now established as one of the important annual entertainment events in Spain. The stage is surrounded by 60 metre-high rock walls, which creates an interesting, intimate atmosphere, like a secret, hidden venue beneath the stars for the 2,200 guests.

The 2023 edition of the Primavera Trompetera Festival took place on the 30th and 31st March and 1st April 2023. This festival takes place in the motor racing Circuito de Jerez - Ángel Nieto outside the city. It has 4 stages, camping zone, VIP zone, food trucks, resting zone, attractions and craft products shops.

Marenostrum Fuengirola is one of the largest series of outdoor concerts events on the Costa del Sol. Organised by Fuengirola Town hall, it presents an extensive cycle of concerts that includes classical, rock, flamenco, rap, indie and pop music. The 2022 edition will offer more than 40 concerts over the summer. The first on 30th April was Fito and Fitopaldis and the last is Aitana on 16th September 2022. Concerts are either held inside the precint of the Castle of Sohail or on the large stage in the gardens just outside the castle.

Each procession has a short name and an official long ecclesiastical name representing a part of the Easter story. the processions are organised by the brotherhood associations. The processions usually consists of two pasos (thrones), two brass bands, members of the brotherhood; young and old and by invitation members of the local town council, police and other civic officials.

Estepona Summer Feria takes place the first week in July from Tuesday to Sunday and gives everyone a week to enjoy dancing, drinking and eating. Both the day fair and the night fair take place at the 'Parque Ferial y Deportivo' located at the top of Avenida Juan Carlos I next to the A-7 coast road that by-passes Estepona.

Battle of the Flowers (Batalla de las Flores) isn't usually in May but end of April. The "battle'' consists of a procession of floats making its way along the city`s Paseo de la Victoria

There are six days of processions in Estepona during Semana Santa. These days are Palm Sunday (Domingo de Ramas), Easter Wednesday (Miércoles Santo), Easter Thursday (Jueves Santo), Good Friday (Viernes Santo) and Easter Sunday (Domingo de Resurrection). There is no longer a procession on Easter Saturday (Sabado de la Gloria).
