Blossom Restaurant, Malaga

BLOSSOM – ONE- MICHELIN-STAR RESTAURANT IN MALAGA CITY.

Blossom, led by Argentinian chef Emi Schobert, started out as a bistro but has developed into a restaurant offering sophisticated modern fusion cuisine, with beautifully presented dishes. The Michelin Guide states that the restaurant offers "an interesting gastronomic approach to fusion cuisine that combines creativity with South American culinary flourishes from Peru, Mexico, Argentina". The Michelin Guide also says that “his sweetbread biscuit, with chickpea and Jerusalem artichoke took us completely by surprise.”

Two tasting menus are available: Blossom Menu (10 courses) and Grand Menu Blossom (13 courses). Diners can sit either on the spacious outdoor terrace, on a pedestrianised street, or in the cosy interior.

Emi was born in Buenos Aires and worked as a primary school teacher before starting a cooking school in Patagonia in 2007. He represented Argentina at the World Gastronomic Competition Bocuse D´Or in France in 2015 and 2019, and has been living in Malaga since 2019, the year when he opened Blossom.

Blossom was awarded its Michelin start in November 2024.
