Miraflores

Miraflores is located halfway between Marbella and Fuengirola, has six all-weather courts and the club organises round-robin Sunday tournaments, as do most clubs. Other facilities include two swimming pools and a bar/restaurant. These are great fun, as you simply turn up and play.

Marbella Hill Tennis Club

This club has clay courts, paddle tennis, private lessons and coaching in other languages, you will find it opposite Puente Romano Hotel past the Mosque.

Manolo Santana Racquets Club

This club has a total of six courts, and covers all three of the Grand Slam surfaces (hard, clay and grass.) Here you can enjoy playing tennis with amazing views of the Marbella mountainside. There are various activities available for both adults and children including private lessons and tournaments. The Marbella Open is staged here each summer by former French, US and Wimbledon Champion Manolo Santana.

Hofsaess Tennis Academy

The Hofsaess Tennis Academy is a centre for aspiring players founded by the former German team trainer Klaus Hofsaess and his wife. The training includes tennis practice, fitness workouts and general conditioning.

Don Carlos Tennis & Sports Club

Don Carlos Tennis and Sports Club is a family orientated club with great facilities. It has seven clay tennis courts, two rebound ace courts, a fitness centre and an open air multi-sport game court. The club offers adult tennis classes as well as tennis schools and classes for children and adolescents.

Club de Tenis El Casco

El Casco Tennis Club offers a variety of ways to enjoy tennis. It has six clay and four hard courts, with membership, restaurant and accommodation facilities all available. El Casco also has four padel courts and a variety of programs that you can choose from to practice improve your game. Open to all levels and ages, the club also holds summer and holiday camps as well as catering for business and family groups.

Club de Tenis Nueva Alcántara

The Nueva Alcántara Paddle and Tennis club has four grass tennis courts and 11 paddle tennis courts, of which five are glass walled. The club is in partnership with the Hotel Guadalmina, the official hotel of the Paddle Protour circuit and is converted into the headquarters of the World Paddle Championship each year.. Other facilities include a gym, fitness centre, spa, beauty centre, boutique and bar/restaurant.

Club de Playa Cabane Marbella

Part of the Hotel Los Monteros inthe exclusive Los Monteros urbanizacion east of Marbella, La Cabane provides all manner and size of luxury sunbeds and the prerequisite Champagne to complement the occasion. The atmosphere is exclusive and Mediterranean candle-lit dinners are a specialty here, along with live music at weekends.

Playa Artola

Playa Artola is the beach situated to the west of Cabopino Marina. This is on a promenant part of the coast called Punta Ladrones. One assumes ladrones (robbers) prefered to come ashore on promentaries rather than inlets. A very early partly restored square plan watch tower bears testiment to this and is also called Torre Ladrones watch tower.

Las Chapas

The famous Nikki Beach club in the gardens of the Don Carlos Hotel is located here, so there is no shortage of celebrities and glamourous folk on Las Chapas beach. It is very popular and busy in summer. The main access to the western end of the beach is via the urbanisation roads that lead down tot he beach from the Elveria shopping centre or Alanda club or Don Carlos Hotel.

Los Monteros beach

Los Monteros beach is situated next to Hotel Los Monteros and the Urbanization Bahia de Marbella part of Urbanizacion Los Monteros. It is a large beach; 2km long but quite narrow in places. Playa Los Monteros is a relatively quiet beach; it is a fine sandy and pebble free beach and the sea shore is quite shallow.
