Pilar de Arrabalejo - Arrabalejo fountain
The public fountain is situated next to one of the eight gates of the Santa Catalina Castle wall. Its design and construction is attributed to Alonso Barba, of clear Renaissance aesthetics and remarkable height, it is composed of a total of two bodies and a coronation attic. In the lower body it has two niches with spouts that pour their waters into the main pillar, while the upper body shows two shields with gussets; and on them an inscription with the date of 1574.
