Servicio de Interpretación Altas Cumbres Sur Capileira
The SIAC is a service offered to visitors during the summer months, consisting of guided minibus tours. The Environmental Interpretation Service provides insight into the most notable features of this unique environment, offering visitors an enjoyable journey through the history, geography, landscape and biology of the upper part of the mountain range. Starting from Capileira, the tour reaches Alto del Chorrillo (2,700 m), a fantastic viewpoint overlooking the Poqueira Valley. From here, visitors can enjoy stunning vistas of the towering Sierra Nevada peaks, the surrounding mountains and, on clear days, the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. There are multiple itineraries available from this point, each offering beautiful views. The tour departs from outside the center located on Camino del Barranco de Poqueira, 1D (A-4129).
