Iglesia de Santa Catalina
Nestled within a large group of troglodytic structures is a late Roman or Visigothic church. This cave chapel is located at the foot of a cliff and comprises a rectangular room measuring approximately 6 x 2.3 metres, which ends in a quadrangular apse.
This is separated from the main nave by a horseshoe arch. Carved into the clay on the left wall is a Latin cross measuring approximately 30 cm in height. The sides feature various niches and an exterior door-like opening which is currently walled up. The access door is only partially preserved and features a raised semicircular arch. The church is located in Barrio Carabanchel.
