Buses from La Linea de la Concepción
The La Linea bus station is located in the centre of the town about one block from the border with Gibraltar.
La Linea bus station opened in 1986 is only about five minutes walk from the Gibraltar border. It a pretty run down and abandoned looking place with most of the shops closed down.
FACILITIES
There is a Comes ticket office (open Monday and Tuesday 06.45 to 08.30 and 10.00 to 20.00, Wednesday to Sunday and holidays 10.00 to 11.30 and 14.00 to 20.00).

There are vending machines and six cabin size left luggage lockers and toilets. There may be a taxi waiting, if not walk to the Gibraltar border for one. Cafe Eclen is located just over the road outside the main entrance, a quiet location for drinks, snacks.
BUS SERVICE
The main bus routes are urban bus, San Roque and Algeciras (M-130), Algeciras direct (M-120), Estepona (M-240) and long distance to Seville and Cadiz both via Tarifa and Costa de la Luz. Several bus a day to Malaga.One service a day to Madrid, Barcelona, Cordoba.

Stopping bus La Linea to Estepona
M-240 A service runs east to Guadiaro and Sabinillas and Estepona. (4.50€) . This bus leaves La Linea bus station and travels along the CA-34 through Campamiento and Puente Mayorga to joint the A-7 coastal highway. It leaves highway to call at Guadiaro and San Enrique de Guadiaro and Torreguadiaro. It passes Puerto de la Duquesa, Sabinillas, Casares Costa, Buenas Noches before entering Estepona on Avenida del Carmen. It stops to set down only by Polydeportivo El Carmen on Avenida Puerto del Mar ( stop opposite Estepona Bullring discontinued since March 2022) and continues to Avenida Juan Carlos I, Parque Calvario, Avenida de Andalucia (not via seafront Avenida de de España since March 2022) before terminating at Estepona Bus Station.

Bus La Linea to Barcelona
Alsa serves Barcelona with a direct service a day in each direction between Algeciras Bus station and Algeciras Port and Barcelona, Estacio d' Autobusos Nord. The journey takes 18 hours. Price is 132€ single.
Alsa serves Barcelona with four direct service a day between Malaga Bus station and Barcelona, Estacio d' Autobusos Nord. The journey takes 16 hours. Price is 107€ single.
Buses stop in other Andalucia towns, depending on service, namely at Granada, Guadix, Baza, Cullar Baza, Velez Rubio.
Bus La Linea to Madrid
Interbus (was Daibus) now part of Damas operates a twice daily direct bus service from Algeciras to Madrid. Departing Algeciras Bus station morning and evenings arriving at Madrid Estación Sur bus station 9 hours later. Price is about 26€ one way. Bus service typically calls to pick-up at Algeciras (Port), La Linea, Estepona, Marbella, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Malaga before a direct route to Madrid (Estación Sur Bus Station). There are additional services in the summer from Algeciras, Marbella and Malaga.
Bus Algeciras to Vitoria, Bilbao and Irun (french border)
Socibus operate once daily direct service from Algeciras Bus Station to Irun (French border) via Costa de la Luz stopping at Tarifa, San Fernando, Cadiz, Puerto de Santa Maria, Jerez de la Frontera, Sevilla, Ecija, Cordoba, Andujar, Almuradiel, Manzanares, Aranda de Duero, Burgos, Miranda de Ebro, Vitoria, Bilbao, Eibar, San Sebastian, Irun. Journey about 15 hours and costs about 71€ single. In the summer there is a second daily service.
Socibus operate a daily from from Malaga Bus Station to Irun (French border) stopping at Cordoba, Andujar, Almuradiel, Manzanares, Aranda de Duero, Burgos, Miranda de Ebro, Vitoria, Bilbao, Eibar, San Sebastian, Irun. Journey 15 hours cost about 70€ single.
Socibus operate a daily from from Malaga Bus Station to Bilbao stopping at Cordoba, Almuradiel, Manzanares, Vitoria, Bilbao. Journey 12hrs cost about 80€ single.
