Cabalgata Reyes Magos
The Three Kings procession is celebrated on the evening of 5th January.

La Candelaria
La Candelaria is traditionally celebrated on the 2nd February.

Carnavales
Carnival is traditionally celebrated on Ash Wednesday.

Semana Santa
Holy Week processions, dates can vary. During the Easter procession, doughnuts and sweets are thrown from balconies to the crowds below.

Día de la Vieja
Día de la Vieja is traditionally celebrated 21 days after Ash Wednesday.

Romería de San Isidro
Romería de San Isidro is celebrated on the 15th May.

Fiestas en Honor a San Francisco de Asís
Fiestas en Honor a San Francisco de Asís are celebrated on the 4th October. Turre is the only small village that continues this tradition, bringing in people from all over the district. Before the celebration, local stable girls embroider ribbons and tie them to the edges of the streets. A huge gang of young men on horseback then storm the streets and have to catch the ribbons. Traditionally, this ritual would produce many engagements between the girls that made the ribbons and the boys that caught them.
