Museo Muncipal de Alcalá la Real
This Municipal Museum was opened in 1995 in the interesting Palacio Abacial with the aim of exhibiting and conserving local artefacts.
The museum has the following rooms. The treasure of Ermita Nueva. Geology, minerals and fossils room. Flour Mill room. Prehistory room. Roman world room. Funeral traditions room. Neolithic room for copper and bronze ages.
A Nature Interpretation Center was inaugurated in May 2015 was created with two objectives: the recovery of species of amphibians, reptiles, native flora from the Mediterranean forest, together with the collection of exotic species. This section is of special interest to children.
