Recomiendo - One Michelin Star Restaurants in Cordoba
ReComiendo is located in Córdoba, to the north of the historic centre in Barrio Mirabueno. The chef, Periko Ortega, worked at Mugaritz and Tragabuches among others, as well as being chef at Hotel Palacio del Bailio in Cordoba and also at Choco (LINK). He opened ReComiendo in 2014.
Ortega gives talks at major gastronomic events in Spain and beyond, and holds the positions of Executive Chef and Technical director of the Cordoba Hospitality School.
The restaurant offers three menus: Nostalgia (€125, 21 courses), Memoria (€104, €185 with wine pairing featuring Montilla Moriles wines, 18 courses), and Recuerdos (€95, €150 with pairing, 16 courses). “Danish biscuit” of foie with Palo Cortado sherry, cheese foam and quince jam, and lobster with nougat soup and Moscatel granizado are two highly original creations of Ortega’s menu.
ReComiendo was awarded its Michelin star in 2026.
