WORLD - INTERNATIONAL TOURIST ARRIVALS
The total world International tourist arrivals were 1.458 million in 2019 up from 764 million in 2004 up from 693m in 2001. Spain has returned to being second most visited country, second to France. A position it has held for many decades except for dropping dropped to fourth after France, USA and China for several years in mid 2010s.
