Spanish Tapas and Gastronomy in London

I don't normally post about events outside Spain, but this one is a must, especially with all the attention Spanish gastronomy has been getting internationally.

This Saturday 31 August, you can enjoy a tapas extravaganza in London - a special one-off at Dalston Yard, a seasonal eating space in East London which usually offers night-time events and day-time markets.

The line-up is positively stellar in terms of Spanish restaurants in the capital:

Jose Pizarro, who hails from Extremadura, the region of southern Spain bordering the north-west of Andalucia; Tapas Fantasticas, whose chef Omar Allibhoy is a high-profile champion of Spanish eats; Salt Yard, Opera Tavern and Dehesa, from the Salt Yard restaurant group; Tramontana, the east London outpost of the Brindisa family; Morito, little sister of the legendary Moro; Camino and Camino Cava Bar; Bar Tozino, known for its superb jamon iberico; Bocaface Spanish street food (tortilla, chorizo rolls).

If you're in London this weekend, don't miss it!
