There are Chemists/Farmacias in Estepona town and wider municipal district. They are open mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning.

Estepona has a growing selection of hotels. The most expensive and luxurious hotels in Estepona are the Kempinski and Villa Padierna, both a few kilometres to the east of the town. The H10 and the Hotel Fuerte Estepona are situated 2km west and are both frontline to the beach, ideal for families.

We spoke with Francisco Alarcón, a multidisciplinary artist from Estepona, who works in painting, sculpture, and mural art. Deeply inspired by the Mediterranean light and landscape of his Costa del Sol hometown, Francisco explores themes of memory, nature, and human connection. His vibrant, large-scale murals inject colour and identity into urban spaces, whilst his posters showcase Andalusian traditions. Whether working on a public wall or canvas, his art reflects a deep-rooted dialogue with place, tradition, and transformation.

Estepona Summer Feria took place from Tuesday 2nd to Sunday 7th July 2024 and gives everyone a week to enjoy dancing, drinking and eating. Both the day fair and the night fair take place at the 'Parque Ferial y Deportivo' located at the top of Avenida Juan Carlos I next to the A-7 coastal highway.

Torre Baños is also called Torre de Casasola is located in the Isdabe / Atalaya district of East Estepona. To be precise it is locate on the seafron just to the west of the Hotel Atalya. This is why the Hotel is named Atalaya. (Watchtower).

The  40 metre high panoramic Ferris Wheel was a temporary attraction in Estepona and was in operation until early October 2024. It was dismantled over the second fortnight in October 2024.

Street parking is difficult in Estepona. Certainly not in the old town or the central area. You may be lucky in the outlying areas. We recommend that you use a car park. Estepona is effectively cut in two, east and west of the old town. The original N-340 coastal road along the front in Estepona is now pedestrianised.

The Coral Magnum Mysteruim is the name of the Estepona town choir. The choir typically performs several traditional concert in Estepona each year, including a Christmas and summer concert, in the parish church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen and more recently in the Auditorum of the Mirador del Carmen. Its musical director is Miguel Ángel Garrido Sánchez professor at the Manuel Carras professional conservatory in Malaga.

Louie Louie Rock music bar, located in the Edificio PuertoSol, Estepona Marina, next to O' Donoghues Irish Pub, opened in 2013. Louie Louie Live regularly hosts a mix of bands from Malaga, Seville and northern Spain, and often big name bands from the UK, USA, EU and Australia on European tours - quite an achievement for a small venue. Best known for rock and blues bands.

The Estepona Town Hall approved this ordinance on 19 January 2023, and a timscale for phased introduction was published (see below). However no signs have been introduced (as October 2025) which are required to enforse the ZBE.

A pay per ride peddle assisted eBike and eScooter hire was introduced in Estepona town in August 2022. There are 125 vehicles, half eBikes and half eScooters. The town hall awarded the concession to the provider Dott who also have vehicles in Malaga and Madrid and may other European cites.

Punta Plata is the first district in the Estepona Eastern Districts. It starts east of the Arroyo de la Cala (Cala Stream), which runs just right of the Colegio San José (St Joseph’s College) along the coast until the Rio del Padrón (Padrón River) which froms the easter boundary of the district.

East of Punto Plata, visitors will enjoy a visit to the Padrón district. This low-density area showcases the benefits of the Andalucían Mediterranean coastline, offering visitors and residents the choice of a relaxing beach, beach clubs, and restaurants alongside the coastal  walkway to explore  the area.

El Velerín is a small suburb east of El Padrón. It is a low-density area on the coastal side, making it ideal for visitors looking to enjoy the beauty of the Andalucía Mediterranean coastline. The district is bounded by two rivers flowing down from the Las Reales de Sierras Bermeja mountains into the Mediterranean Sea: the Río del Velerín and the stream known as the Arroyo de las Cańas.

Along the eastern coastline of Estepona, located between the stream, Arroyo de la Cańas and the river, Rio Guadalmansa, is the district known as El Pirata. On the coastal side, it is a quiet residential area with a good choice of restaurants and hotels and beautiful views across the Mediterranean Sea towards Gibraltar and the coastline of Africa.

Punta Plata district of Estepona, the mountainside area of Punta Plata occupies the inland section of the district north of the Avenida del Literal (former N-340) extending west towards the Arroyo de la Cala and bounded to the north by the A-7. The landscape consists of agricultural land, natural vegetation, and scattered residential properties.

Along the eastern coastline of Estepona, located between the stream, Arroyo de la Cańas and the river, Rio Guadalmansa, is the district known as El Pirata. On the coastal side, it is a quiet residential area with a good choice of restaurants and hotels and beautiful views across the Mediterranean Sea towards Gibraltar and the coastline of Africa.

Along the eastern coastline of Estepona, Torre Bermeja is a modern district located east of El Pirata and Las Dunas and to the west of the farmland and IKOS resort which approaches the River Guadalmansa.

Parque Antena is a small, low-density residential area located on the mountainside between the Rio Guadalmansa (to the east of Marbella), Camino de la Boladilla and Calle Rio. The district comprises several established urbanisations and a golf course, offering a quiet and well-spaced living environment.
