Mojácar has a long, complex history that stretches over 4,000 years. Populated by Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Greeks, and Moors, it remains an intersection of many cultures. It was under Moorish rule that Mojácar really began to flourish. The castle was built and the town walls were expanded and fortified.

Positioned in the mountains of Almeria, the town of Mojacar gives stunning views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is located within an hour's drive from the provincial capital of Almeria City and that city's convenient transportation connections.

Natural hazards as well as artificial ones are brought into play in the unique layout of this course. Suitable for all handicaps, it is stimulating and challenging, requiring concentration but very rewarding for good shots. The ample greens have a selection of pin positions.

Mojácar clings to a rocky hillside watching over the Mediterranean. An hour’s drive from Almeria City. It actually comprised of two distinct areas; Mojácar Pueblo (town) and Mojácar Playa (beach), roughly 2km apart. It has around 6,300 inhabitants.

Opened in 2000 and designed by Ramón Espinosa, this course is located in a stunning position beside the Mediterranean. It is not overly long, but the garden-like setting with its multitude of trees and shrubs is incomparable, making it a joy to play at any time of the year. Sea views are a dominating feature all the way round the course and are especially remarkable from the 4th tee. Additionally there are four pitch-and-putt holes and an ample practice area with 25 tees, of which nine are under cover.
