Guadalmina is a beachside community that straddles the A-7 (old N-340) coast road, dividing it into Guadalmina Alta and Guadalmina Baja. Guadalmina is part of San Pedro which is part of the municipal district of Marbella.

Guadalmina Baja is the beach-side part of the development that is divided by the A-7 (old N-340) coastal highway. The two parts, Guadalmina Baja and Guadalmina Alta are joined by a tunnel and are collectively known as Guadalmina.

The hammocks on the beach and the low Moroccan style sofas and tables in the lounge area reflect the chilled-out atmosphere of Bora Bora.
