Allez&Yorghaki: Latin Hip Hop, Latin Pop, Latin Urban Hop, Merengueton. A more specific blend of Latin sounds.
This Boombastic Costa del Sol festival is undeniably a Latin Urban & EDM Festival at its core. It expertly blends the massively popular Latin urban genres (Reggaeton, Trap, Hip Hop, RKT) with high energy electronic music from renowned international DJs. The inclusion of traditional Spanish pop/rock and the unique Flamenco rock of Las Grecas adds a layer of diversity, making it an attractive event for a broad audience who enjoy modern Latin sounds, electronic beats and a touch of Spanish heritage.
Saiko
The festival announced a new major addition: Saiko, one of the most influential artists on the Spanish urban scene. At just 23 years old, Saiko, the stage name of Migue Cantos Gomez, has achieved what few Spanish artists can: placing Spanish music on the international map. He has accumulated 3 gold records, and 25 platinum records.
The young Granada native, began his musical journey at the age of 14, participating in rap battles in his hometown. In 2017, he formed a duo with his brother, known as Wido and Saiko, but it wasn't until 2020, when he began his solo career with 'Te quiero fuera'. However, the turning point came in 2022 with the release of 'Polarais', a song that marked a turning point in his career that earned his first world record.
Since then, his rise has been metoric. Supernova, released in April 2023, was a true phenomenon in Spain, reaching number one on the charts thanks to its chorus, inspire by 'Un Velonista en tu tejado' by Melendi, who will also headline Boombastic 2025.
His ability to collaborate with international artists such as J Balvin, Bryant Myers, Yandal, Della fuente, and Polima West coast, has allowed him to diversify his artistic offering without losing his essence. An essence that combines reggaeton, trap, and pop, with a unique signature that resonates with new generations.
Last April, Saiko released his long awaited album, 'Sakura', a 16 track effort, that marks a quantam leap in production and collaborations. One of the most talked about music videos was 'Yo lo soñe', featuring wrestler Ilia Topura, and singer Omar Montes, another heavyweight on the international scene.
In addition to his musical career, the artist has left his mark on his hometown. In June 2024, it was announced that he was the sponsor of Granda's CF jersey, for the 2024-2025 season, becoming the first artist to sponsor the LaLiga club, demonstrating his strong ties to his hometown and community.
Saiko's peformance in Estepona is shaping to be one of the most anticipated moments of the festival. Not only for its music, but for its live energy and ability to connect with the audience.
Since its Costa Del Sol edition began, Boombastic has grown to establish itself as one of the bigger summer events in Andalucia.
